Transcription of Marriage Licence of Heinrich Esser and Otilia Nissen (sic) from copy of original in Cuyahoga County Archives:
The State of Ohio, Cuyahoga County, ss. I certify, that on the 13th day of Nov. 1873 Mr. Heinrich Esser and Miss Otilia Nisen (sic)were, by me, legally joined in marriage. Cas. Reichier (sic) Pastor. (pastor's name is spelled Reichler on the licence below).
A note by the Cuyahoga County Archives Researcher states that they were married at St. Stephens Church 1930 W 54 (old courtland street)
