this is on the Richland County OHGenweb site. There are nifty scanned maps of Richland County as it was in 1856. The names are indexed on the main page but are not alphabetized. Weller, Butler, Franklin and Blooming Grove Townships all show Pittengers. In Weller Township we have: Nathaniel Pittenger, Isaac and Samuel Pittenger lands. Nathaniel and Samuel are the sons of Peter Pittenger and Nancy Osbun. Isaac is the son of Nathaniel Pittenger and Elizabeth Osbun. In Franklin Township we have:H. Pittenger-presumably Peter Pittenger's son Henry. Also in Washinton Twp. we have James Sirpless (father of Eudolphia Sirpless Pittenger)
